Bird & Gun Introduction
Bird & gun is a two-week course done with a puppy as early as 5 months old. This course will take your puppy through frozen birds and live clipped wing birds. We start with a starter pistol, moving into a 410, 20-gauge, and 12-gauge shotguns. The goal of this course is to introduce your puppy to guns, birds, and pull out as much desire in your puppy as possible and ending the course shooting and flushing live flyer birds.
Intermediate Training
Our intermediate training course offers comprehensive instruction in both on- and off-leash commands essential for a well-behaved dog. This includes commands such as "place," "sit," "heel," "down," and "here" (recall), ensuring your dog is responsive and reliable in various situations. Additionally, upon owner request, we provide force-fetch training. For waterfowl scenarios, we teach "steady to shot," preparing your dog for controlled behavior during hunting and retrieving. Our program is designed to equip both you and your dog with the skills needed for effective communication and partnership.
Shed Dog Training Introduction & Intermediate Shed Dog Training
Our courses are created to introduce your dog to the concept of antler hunting and to cultivate their natural instincts for scent and sight-based hunting. Throughout the shed training programs, we focus on teaching your dog to recognize the scent of antlers and to utilize their keen senses to locate them effectively. By the end of the courses, your dog will possess the skills to independently find antlers, providing you with a rewarding and fulfilling shed hunting experience together.
Obedience Training
Our comprehensive course is tailored to transform your pup into a well-behaved dog. We cover a range of essential commands, both on- and off-leash, including "place," "sit," "heel," "down," "off" (for discouraging jumping behavior), and "here" (recall). Additionally, we provide owners with dedicated lessons to ensure they understand and can reinforce their dog's new commands effectively. Recognizing that every dog and owner is unique, our course is fully customizable to address specific needs and goals.
